What are Sunday Services Like?
Services lean more toward a traditional setting, with music (a mix of contemporary worship and classic hymns) announcements, scripture readings, and a message. Services typically end by noon. You will find someone dressed in every category from casual to semi-formal.
The Bible is emphasized as the authoritative Word in our lives, with expository (careful and detailed) teaching through entire books of the Bible - verse by verse.
We participate in the Lord's supper together once a month in both morning and evening services.
Sundays? ...But I Have Kids.
We have dedicated services for kids between the ages of 0 and 12 (newborn to 6th grade) on Sundays. Starting at 1015am, three classrooms in our Preschool & Nursery Rooms are open. These classrooms are marked and broken up by ages, 0-1, 2-3, 4-7. At the entrance of each room you will find a clipboard with a sign in sheet. The classrooms are staffed by rotating members of our church. The kids will be taught a short lesson (ages 2-7), given a simple snack, and provided opportunity for supervised play time inside the classroom and in our adjoining playground. Bring the kids over, fill out the form, say hi to the volunteers, and enjoy main service.
Children's church is available for ages 7-12 in the Music Room. Children's church begins after music worship time in the main service and before scripture reading (usually around 11am). An announcement will be make when it's time for the children to make their way to children's church. Follow the others to the back of the sanctuary and line up to be ushered into the Music Room. Children's church consists of an interactive lesson and activity taught by rotating members of our church.
